This year will be the 30th edition of the Hardrock 100 Endurance Run, this year being run in the counterclockwise direction (the race switches direction with every edition). Starting in Silverton, this loop direction passes through the towns of Animas Forks, Ouray and Telluride in sequence, before returning to the start 102.5 miles later, and after having ascended and descended 66,394 feet in total. Last year’s men’s champion and clockwise direction record holder Ludovic Pommeret returns to defend his crown, while a new women’s champion will be crowned with Courtney Dauwalter, the reigning women’s champion and course record holder absent from this year’s start list.
In this direction, course record marks are held by Aurelien Dunand-Pallaz (France), set in 2023 (23:00:30, with major elapsed timing milestones as: Animas Forks 8h50m, Ouray 11h31m and Telluride 15h14m), and Courtney Dauwalter (USA), also set in 2023 (26:14:12, with major elapsed timing milestones as: Animas Forks 10h15m, Ouray 13h24m and Telluride 17h29m).
The race starts at 6am MDT local time (5am PDT / 8am EDT / 1pm BST) on Friday July 11, 2025, and will be livestreamed on the Mountain Outpost YouTube channel.

Who did I miss? Who are you rooting for?
Hi Liam, you may need to double-check the CCW men course record (2021's time by Francois d'Haene). I don't recall any course changes that year.
With 3 strong Frenchmen on the starting line (including the defending champion), I think the main reason for the interest on the men's race will be whether there will be still European dominance.
On the Women's side the question is whether someone will be able to beat Katie Schide.
